A workshop on Structured light for life was held in University of Adelaide, Australia.

The symposium was co-sponsored by the academic transformation area “Chiral Light Materials Science” and the research center “Center of light for life” hosted by Professor Kishan Dholakia. It was a great success with over 50 participants including her girlfriend Professor Halina Rubinsztein-Dunlop from Queensland’s University. There were many events, including a research lecture centered on Structured Light, a tour of the research center, and a wine tasting event in the suburbs of Adelaide. I think it was a meaningful conference for the graduate students who attended from Japan as well, to learn about the research environments of overseas universities.
