Ken-ichi Yuyama (Osaka Metropolitan University) and Takashige Omatsu (Chiba University) have demonstrated direct printing from a transparent solution by employing optical vortex laser-induced forward transfer (OV-LIFT). A dynamic release layer was used to print a perovskite precursor solution with low absorption at the incident laser wavelength. The dynamic release layer mediated OV-LIFT process allows the direct print of a variety of transparent materials.
